Oil Pastel

While the clean cut lines of marker capture certain industrial structures best, nothing combines control and the richness of color like oil pastel. In keeping with the color variants oil pastel offer, my pieces in this media tend to capture people and nature scenes. Because oil pastel does not lend the same precise edges as marker, I often harden lines by eliminating rounder shapes and substituting straight lines.
